Thank you for your response with the current update on the issue. Sorry to know that the third party software which is suggested in the HP website is not a free software product. What is the make and model of the computer? I have the same question None of the original formatting will be maintained. All others are working fine.

When you say that "including compatibility mode installation", have you tried to reinstall Windows 7 driver compatibility mode? Sorry this didn't help. Remove selected files Download files. Not sure which drivers to choose?
