M780 QAM DRIVER

I got tired of trying to make the windows 7 computer tune in anything and I pulled out the Avermedia TV tuner card and I put it in an identical computer that has vista x64 on it and I installed Avermedia's TV tuner Application for this card and like magic it tuned in digital QAM channels and 67 Analog channels and windows media center only tunes 67 analog channels. What I tried in W7 was: PosterBoy Sage Advanced User. How would I get my system to run those updates again???? Apparently there is a problem with the driver that is prevents Sage from being able to get it to work under XP.

If we can't get native support with SageTV maybe someone can develop a plugin using AverMedia's beta software that supports it. I know a there is m7800 research being done. When I proceed to try to watch live TV after the no channels found error there is watchable channels present in the form of Analog Cable Only channels 2 to 67 of Shreveport Comcast Cable. The application would only be needed for recordings.

I also used a field strength meter to make sure signal was getting through to both analog and digital inputs. Forgot to add the analog coax input is the the top-most on the card.

How satisfied are you with this response? What happened was that a new set of drivers was released 2 days ago and when my computer did an update and the new Avermedia drivers got installed win 7 media center started to work like magic.

Should I go to mm780 Avermedia web site and download drivers there or what???? I have checked devive manager and it reports no conflicts, but that is no guarantee of conflicts. I have downloaded and reinstalled a couple of times now. In reply to Samuel Tai's post on June 23, To supply input to both, you'll need a splitter. I just ordered one of these.
